I have recently bought a franchise in the Cleveland, Ohio area. It is called Wigs On Wheels. I provide in-home wig consultations and sales to individuals who would rather have the shop come to their home instead of going out to shop for wigs and accessories. Most of my clients are individuals who are suffering hair loss for medical reasons, chemotherapy, etc. My biggest challenge at this point is making my business known in the Cleveland area. The founder of the franchise is from Akron/Canton which is only about 30-45 min. from where I live and she is doing very well there. She has been operating her business for about 4 yrs. there. I know I can't expect to do as well as she is in the beginning, but I would appreciate any good suggestions. I have been to several doctor's offices and several hospitals with my literature. Hopefully, the Plain Dealer, which is the big newspaper in Cleveland will do a story about the franchise and that may get the ball rolling for me. Thank you for any helpful suggestions.
