Online mentor programs are growing at a rapid speed, this is the newest category added to the Business Resources Library. These programs were established to help small and home based business owners on their road to success.
E-mail business mentors offer their expertise freely in the form of advice, support, business counseling, reviews of your business and marketing plans, sales and marketing material reviews, along with resources and software recommendations based on their specialty.
Taking advantage of this free resource may be the extra boost you need to feel there is someone in your court for support. Someone to bounce ideas off of and someone to help you without paying the exorbident consulting fees usually associated with such a service.
When putting this newsletter together I paid a visit to CyberCommerce and noticed they were looking to fill a few key mentoring positions. I inquired and have joined the ranks as their internet services mentor.
The benefits here are two-fold. I can learn as I help others find the resources they are seeking and at the same time gain credibility and exposure for ColDen Communications.
If you enjoy sharing your expertise, you may wish to pay a visit to http://www.cybercommerce.com and volunteer your services in their free e-mail mentor program. The mentors are not paid monetarily for their services. However, the rewarding experience may be something you'd like to take part in.
Aside from the website e-mail mentor programs I found that mailing lists which bring business owners together offer a great deal of support. Mailing lists consist of a list owner that creates a list e-mail address and if you subscribe to the list all messages sent to that address are forwarded to you and all other subscribers.
Through a few mailing lists I belong to I have gained a great deal of knowledge and contacts for networking.
