20. Lovely hand carved oval cherry wood bowl. It's 7 1/2 inches long by 4 3/4 inches wide
and about 2 inches tall (depth is a bit less than that). Price: SOLD21. Hand Carved jet black ebony porringer fashioned after the porringers used in the 1720's. It's easier to carve cement than this wood, so there won't be another one! It feels more like glass than wood because it has such a tight graim. This piece has a faint grain you can see -- I put change in the bottom of the bowl because it made it easier to see the size (and no, the change does not go with the bowl). It's 3 7/8 inches wide; and almost 6 inches from the tip of the handle to the edge of the bowl; it stands 1 7/8 inches tall. Price: $90 |
